Boys, Girls Tennis Defend 6A State Championships

Congratulations to the Boys’ and Girls’ Varsity Tennis Teams – both won the 2026 6A State Championships last week in Mobile, Alabama. This is the 36th State Championship for the Girls’ Team since 1972, and it makes number 30 for the Boys’ Team. This was the 9th consecutive Championship for the Girls (no tournament in 2020 for COVID so streak dates back to 2017). That is the second longest streak by any school in the state (first is UMS Wright with 11 in a row). This was the Boys fourth State Championship in a row dating back to 2023.
