Special Education Services
Special education services for children with disabilities are provided in accordance with the Individual with Disabilities Education Improvement Act of 2004 and Alabama Act 106.  Child Find is an attempt to locate and provide appropriate educational and related services to all children with disabilities between the ages of 3-21. School-related services for students with disabilities are provided in accordance with Section 504 of the 1973 Vocational Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act.  Child Find is an attempt to locate and provide appropriate educational and related services to all students with disabilities eligible according to federal regulations and local school procedures.
