2025-2026 EXPRESSIONS ART CONTEST

Expressions is an annual elementary school art competition designed to foster creativity and celebrate the many talents of our students. Participants may enter in one or more of the following five categories: Creative Writing, Filmmaking, Instrumental/Voice, Photography, and Visual Arts.

Entries will first be judged in individual school contests, with winners announced by each school. Those winning entries will then advance to the district-level competition. District winners will be honored at a District Reception on March 5, 2026, at Cherokee Bend.

Important Dates

• Online Registration Forms Close: Monday, 1/26/26, at 11:59 p.m.
• Online Category Entries Due (Creative Writing, Filmmaking, Instrumental/Voice): Thursday, 1/29/26 by 12:00 p.m. — uploaded to Eduvision
• Physical Category Entries Due (Photography, Visual Arts): Thursday, 1/29/26 — turned in at each school
• School Receptions: February 9–13, 2026
• District Reception: March 5, 2026

Students may submit work in any of the five categories. All entries must have an accompanying online registration form in order to be judged.

For the categories of Creative Writing, Filmmaking, and Instrumental/Voice, submissions must be uploaded online through Eduvision.

Parents and students are required to review all rules carefully to avoid disqualification.

STEPS TO ENTER THE CONTEST:

Registration and online submission links will be live on December 1st. Registration forms close at 11:59 p.m. on Jan. 26th.  Online entry uploads close at noon on January 29th.
