Mountain Brook Schools mourns the loss of Cherokee Bend Elementary’s Rick Hedrick who passed away unexpectedly on January 25, 2025. Mr. Hedrick implemented and taught the F.O.A.C. program at CBS for 28 years and influenced thousands of students, faculty and parents during his tenure. The video below was created to honor his life and legacy he left on the Cherokee Bend and Mountain Brook Schools community.
