Mountain Brook girls basketball defeated Fort Payne 52-40 on Thursday afternoon at Jacksonville State University. With the win, the Spartans clinched their first spot in the AHSAA Final Four in program history. Over 200 MBHS students were in attendance for the game and the Spartans maintained control throughout the game.

Avery Davis was named the tournament MVP and was joined on the All-Tournament Team by Libby Geisler and Maddie Walter.
