Mountain Brook Schools will host the 2026 Mountain Brook Resource Fair on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Mountain Brook High School, 3650 Bethune Dr., Mountain Brook, AL 35223. The free, community-wide event connects families of students with disabilities to local resources, services, and support networks.

Presented by Mountain Brook Schools, the Resource Fair warmly invites Mountain Brook High School and Mountain Brook Junior High parents, families, and teachers to a night of learning and connection. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet face-to-face with more than 20 Community Resource Providers (CRPs) spanning healthcare, vocational training, legal planning, recreation, and postsecondary education.

"We want families to leave with real tools and real connections," said Ben Bailey, Transition Coordinator for Mountain Brook Schools. "This fair puts parents directly in front of the organizations that can support their student's growth, independence, and transition into adulthood — all in one place, in one evening."

Event highlights include:

• Discover Community Resources — Find services tailored to help students succeed in school, work, and life.
• Meet CRPs — Speak directly with Community Service Providers to ask questions and learn about available services.
• Gain Tools and Information — Access guidance to support a student's transition and growing independence.
• Build Connections — Meet other families and build a network of support within the community.

Participating organizations include United Ability, Workshops Inc., Equip, The Exceptional Foundation, Easterseals, the Mountain Brook Schools/Samford University Connections Transition Program, CrossingPoints at The University of Alabama, Horizons School, the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services (ADRS), Accessing Potential Through Assistive Technology (APT AT), UAB Medicine's Step Program, the Alabama Department of Mental Health, Full Life Ahead Foundation of H.O.P.E., Unless U, Phase Foundation, Camp ASCCA, Young Life, Down Syndrome Alabama, Grace Klein Community, and McInerney Law, among others.

The Resource Fair is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
