The Mountain Brook Schools Board of Education has cooperation agreements/contracts with selected colleges and universities within the state of Alabama.  These agreements provide a framework of cooperation between the Mountain Brook Board of Education and the institution.

We will only allow interns or student teachers placed in our schools from institutions who have provided an appropriate agreement. 

To date, the following institutions have been approved:

• The University of Alabama (Tuscaloosa)
• Athens State College
• Auburn University
• Birmingham Southern College
• Grand Canyon University
• Miles College
• Samford University
• The University of Montevallo
• The University of North Alabama
• The University of Alabama at Birmingham
• University of West Alabama
• University of Phoenix.
